HANDY HINTS FOR CARAVAN / MOTORHOME CLEANER

Fenwick's Superior Caravan / Motorhome Cleaner is designed specifically for use on your caravan / Motorhome, it does not contain acids, abrasives or solvents and is safe to use on acrylic windows. It will not damage any part of your Vehicle. For general washing follow the instructions on the bottle, for specific problems follow the guide below:

1) Grills and refrigeration port stains :- Apply neat on a damp cloth, work into stain and leave for 30 seconds. Rub affected area with a cotton cloth to remove stain and rinse off. Repeat as necessary.

2) Diesel and petrol fume stains :- Put two capfuls of Caravan Cleaner in a 1 litre handheld spray bottle and fill with water, spray onto affected area and leave for 30 seconds, rub with a sponge and rinse.

3) Black streaks :- Using the above solution in a handheld spray bottle, spray the affected areas, leave to soak for 30 seconds to a minute, rub with a sponge and rinse. Or if the black streaks are very stubborn, or you have tried removing them with a polish. You will probably need to use this method; using a damp cloth apply a neat solution to the mark leave to soak, and then work in until the streaks are removed and then rinse.

4) Stained plastic surrounds i.e. cassette hatches, wheel arches, hub caps, refrigerator grills etc. :- Again as in (2) spray the cleaning solution onto the affected areas and leave for 30 seconds, rub with soft bristle brush or a sponge and rinse. An old toothbrush works well on cassette hatches.

5) Green algae, in and behind extruded aluminium sections :- Using 4 capfuls of Caravan Cleaner in a 1 litre hand held spray bottle filled with water. Liberally spray the affected areas and leave to soak for a minute, then agitate with a soft brush and thoroughly rinse making sure all debris is washed away.

6) Stubborn grey film or degraded polish :- Pour neat Caravan Cleaner onto a damp sponge, apply to affected area producing a thick lather, leave for 30 seconds to a minute and then rub with a cotton cloth and rinse. Continue doing this until a clean surface is achieved.

7) Rinsing with Bobby Dazzler (1 capful per gallon of water) will provide a protective coating so that you do not need to polish. It keeps the caravan / car cleaner and makes it easier to clean next time. It also contains algae and rust inhibitors to slow down their return.
